Midcoast is a supporter of GOahNOAH, an annual event taking place at Stoney Creek Metro Park.
Renee Sullivan started the event to help parents cope with medical crises. It is named after her son, Noah, who was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor, medulloblastoma, at age 9.
The event includes a bike ride, a walk and a competitive 5K run, which begins at 9:30 a.m. The event is a fund-raiser to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, which provides a low-cost home away from home for families of children who are hospitalized.
ALL proceeds benefited the Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of Detroit.
